Communicating Your Opinions in Written Expert Witness Reports

Join the Forensic Expert Witness Association’s (FEWA) Chicago Chapter meeting on September 7! Douglas Wm. Godfrey, Professor of Legal Research and Writing, Chicago-Kent College of Law, will speak on “Communicating Your Opinions in Written Expert Witness Reports”. Douglas will give his perspective as a legal research, writing and trial tactics law professor plus former litigator and prosecutor. Recently, the Chicago Chapter gave an outstanding presentation with litigation attorneys speaking on the related topic of rules of evidence and litigation attorneys’ expectations for the basic elements of expert reports for admissibility. Professor Godfrey will provide a complementary, hands-on discussion on writing with clarity, the meaning of communicating, expressing and supporting positions, and how to have a persuasive and objective impact in the expert witness litigation context. Your report is your work product!

Members and non-members, experts and non-experts are welcome. Reserve your spot today!
