Dr. Nirenberg is one of a few clinical and forensic podiatrists in the U.S. He has provided analysis of gait, footwear and footprints in homicide cases for law enforcement and has successfully met a Daubert challenge, published in podiatric and forensic journals, served as a podiatric surgical residency instructor and lectured at podiatric medical and forensic seminars. He also assists in civil matters related to the foot and ankle, including analysis of medical malpractice and injuries. Peggy Daley is a Managing Director with BRG Berekeley Research Group, and has over 25 years of experience in investigations, data analytics, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. She has conducted hundreds of trade secret theft, fraud, and hacking investigations on behalf of Boards of Directors and outside counsel. Ms. Daley has testified at regulatory and sanctions hearings and also serves as an expert witness in matters relating to fraud, data privacy, data analytics, TCPA, and data security.

 

Ms. Daley is a frequent lecturer on topics of data privacy, data security, fraud, and intelligence gathering. Her investigative team has been named "Best of Chicago for Global Risk & Investigations" by the National Law Journal. She was named by Who's Who Legal in 2014, 2015, and 2016 as one of a limited group of nationally recognized Forensic Investigations Experts.

 

Ms. Daley received her J.D. cum laude from Boston University School of Law and her B.A from the University of Michigan. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). She currently serves as the Chairman of the Cook County Board of Ethics and on the state board overseeing the licensing of private detectives and security professionals.

 

 

David Kalat is an Associate Director with BRG Berkeley Research Group, and is a computer forensic investigator and E-Discovery project manager. He is an International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), an Access Data Certified Examiner (ACE), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), an Illinois Licensed Private Detective, and a non-fiction author. Mr. Kalat holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan.  Prior to joining BRG, Mr. Kalat was a Director with Duff & Phelps’ Disputes and Investigations practice, where he managed an international team of forensic examiners and E-Discovery support specialists.

 

 

John Plumpe is a Principal with Charles River Associates (CRA). He provides expert witness services regarding damages and valuation in litigation and transaction cases involving trademarks, patents, copyrights, and other intellectual property. He works with both plaintiffs and defendants in the analysis and reporting of lost profits, defendant’s profits, reasonable royalties, and other forms of damages in intellectual property infringement and related matters. John has testified in Federal District Court regarding intellectual property damages issues. He has authored expert reports for clients in the financial services, media, luxury goods, automobile, and apparel industries. His additional engagement experience covers a variety of industries, including consumer electronics, retail, food and beverage, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, telecommunications, and consumer products.

 

John consults on engagements involving the valuation of businesses and intellectual property for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, collateralization, licensing transactions, bankruptcy and tax purposes. In addition, he assists clients in developing and implementing strategies and processes for managing and leveraging their intellectual property portfolios.

 

John is on the Board of Directors of Lawyers for the Creative Arts, which provides pro bono legal assistance to clients in all areas of art, culture, media, and entertainment, including the visual, literary, and performing arts.
