Developing An Effective Expert Witness CV

Join other experts and attorneys to discuss the development of an effective Curriculum Vitae. When was the last time that you reviewed your CV? An Expert Witness CV receives intense scrutiny, and an error or omission can prove costly to your reputation. Brad Taft, a Career Transition Consultant and Professional Resume and CV Writer, will lead a discussion on the structure and content of an effective Expert Witness CV.


Topics will include effective formats, common CV mistakes, and preventing discrepancies between online profiles and CV’s. AZ FEWA Chapter members are encouraged to submit their CV’s to Brad ahead of the meeting so he can include sections of expert’s CV’s in a “Best Practices” discussion. Send them to


Brad Taft is Managing Director of Taft Vocational Experts LLC, in Scottsdale, AZ which provides expert witness services in employment-related lawsuits. He has provided expert reports and/or testimony in over 90 cases involving divorce, wrongful termination, wrongful death, workers compensation, and immigration.


Brad is also the Chief Career Strategist of Taft Career Group, a career management consulting firm that supports individuals in planning and implementing effective job search campaigns including the development of effective resumes, CV’s, and biographies.


He has over 30 years of experience in the recruiting, outplacement and career transition fields with firms such as Korn/Ferry International, Lee Hecht Harrison, Right Management Consultants, and Spherion. He has provided recruitment and talent management services for companies in a large number of service and manufacturing industries, and he has provided career consulting to individuals in all functions and all levels of organizations.


Brad holds certifications in the human resources, career consulting, and forensics fields: Career Management Fellow (CMF), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Senior Certified Professional – Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP), and Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant (CFLC).  He is also a licensed Career Consultant in Arizona. He is the co-author of two books: Boom or Bust!: New Career Strategies in a New America, a career management guide for mature workers, and Return of the Boomers, a leader’s guide to managing the mature workforce. He has written numerous articles and delivered keynote speeches and workshops on employment, workforce, and career issues.


Brad received a B.A. in Communications and a M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
