TIPS FOR EXPERTS IN DEPOSITIONS AND FOR TRIAL TESTIMONY 

Join your fellow experts to gain insights into giving effective depositions and testimony. We'll also celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.

The program will feature practical advice for experts in preparing for and testifying in depositions and trials, including advice to enhance the expert’s credibility and persuasiveness and how to avoid pitfalls in the attacks during cross‐examination by opposing counsel.

  • Learn tips for trial testimony to increase your persuasiveness to the jury

Our Presenters are David Selden and Julie Pace, Senior Members at The Cavanagh Law Firm and two of the leading employment attorneys in Arizona.



Speaker(s)

David Selden’s practice focuses on representing management in a wide variety of employment law matters, including discrimination, wrongful discharge, workplace torts, EEOC, ACRD, OSHA, DOL, ICE and other employment and commercial litigation. He has been recognized in Chambers USA and SuperLawyers and if a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. He is a frequent speaker before professional groups, presenting more than 30 professional seminars a year.

 

 

 

Julie Pace’s practice handles employment law, handbooks, drug and alcohol policies, I-9 and E- Verify compliance, OSHA, independent contractor and alleged misclassification issues with DES and other government agencies, confidentiality and anti-solicitation of customers, and defends claims of sexual harassment, employment discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, and wrongful discharge, and against charges by the EEOC or ACRD. She handles matters involving OSHA, ICE, OFCCP, DOL, NLRB, ADA and healthcare, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, and wage and hour laws. She regularly provides training to companies and assists with investigations.
